Welcome back to all returning families and a big WELCOME to all new families. We hope you all had a wonderful summer and are ready to begin our 2011-2012 school year together. It’s our hope to keep communication between the school and home open and work with each other to help make a difference. Our organization has a simple goal of helping to make a great school for our kids.
McDonald-Davis Home and School Association can only be as strong as the families and volunteers that provide us with their support. Take a moment to read through our Welcome Back Packet. We have several volunteer positions available for some of our committees. These committees provide different services and plenty of fun events throughout the school year. Please complete and return your membership form and any or all of the Volunteer forms you may be interested in by September 16th.
In the coming weeks, please be on the look-out for our Fall Fundraiser packet. This year we are pleased and excited to be partnering with Joe Corbi Fundraising. The funds raised will directly support the many services and events that H & S helps to sponsor for all students. Such as field trips, homework folders, school assemblies, classroom parties, recess/playground equipment and the list really goes on and on.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let one of the board members know. We would also like to welcome everyone to join us at our monthly H & S meetings. Our first meeting is Monday, September 12th at 7PM in room 3. Please come out to meet with other parents and discuss what is happening in our school. Together we will make this another great year at McDonald-Davis.
