    Hello C-1 Families!

I hope you are well! I miss everyone very much!

I wanted to reach out to you regarding several important things.

Beginning on Monday March 30th, our distance learning lessons will be posted on the “class story” section of Class Dojo and repeated on my class website (https://www.centennialsd.org/Domain/751) under the homework tab.  You will need to check one of these places to find the assignments for each day. You will use the message section of ClassDojo to take a picture of your work or type and submit it back to me. I will also be taking work submissions via email if that works better for your family. My email address is wolkma@centennialsd.org. I am hoping to set up student portfolios on Class Dojo, so that in the near future, students can submit the work there. I will send out a separate email/message about that on a future date.

Next, I want to try to use the computer program “Zoom” to have meetings as a class. This is a way to meet “live” and interact with one another. Our class will be able to see and talk to each other as a group! Please note, you will have to download the free Zoom application on your preferred device (computer, iPad or phone). Please use the link below on a device of your choosing. If you are using a smart device, you can download the app free from the App Store.

Note: There is no need to create a zoom account. You only need to download zoom using the link below.

After the application loads, click “Join a Meeting” and enter our meeting ID number. Your audio will be muted by Mrs. Wolk until responses are necessary.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for working with me to ensure that your children are still learning. This is an unprecedented time. Let’s continue to support one another so that we can make this a positive experience. Remember, at the end of the day, the most important thing is that we are all healthy.

I look forward to seeing everyone on Zoom, and also working with you through ClassDojo. If you need any help, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Mrs. Wolk
