Has cancer affected your life? Are you a cancer survivor? Have you helped a family member or friend deal with cancer? Have you lost someone to cancer? The Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia is holding its 8th annual Ben Strauss Youth Program Essay contests for teens to share their stories about how cancer has been in their lives. The first place prize is $400, second place is $200 and third place is $100. Contest deadline is Monday, April 13th. Please see your Counselor for a Contest Entry Form.
Seniors!! Another Community Scholarship has arrived. Have you played on the Warminster Baseball Softball Association Team for a minimum of four years? Have you completed at least 32 hours of Community Service and will matriculate at a college/university, trade or technical school in the fall? Then stop by the College and Career Center, Room B201 and ask for the scholarship application.

The Bucks County (PA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is sponsoring their 12th annual Teen Leadership Institute on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Bucks County Community College. This event will provide teens with leadership training, teen empowerment strategies, college preparation information, scholarship information, and much more! Register early seating is limited. The Soroptimist International of Indian Rock will once again present "Dream It * Be It" Career Support Conference for High School Girls on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Spring Mill Country Club. Boys Volleyball preseason workouts continue this week on Monday night from 7:00-9:30 PM and Tuesday and Wednesday after school from 2:30 - 4:00 PM. Tryouts begin on Monday, March 2nd from 3:00-5:30 PM. If you have any questions regarding the boy's volleyball program here at Tennent, please see Mr. Marchetti in Room A118."
Baseball workouts are Monday and Tuesday this week at 6 P.M.
There is a mandatory meeting for parents of students going on the Vermont ski trip on Monday, Feb. 24 at 6 pm in Ms. Konell's room, C215. There is also a fundraiser at Iron Oven that night. Mention the Ski & Snowboard club so the proceeds go towards the trip.
Any LGBTQ student interested in joining the GSA at the Rainbow Connect Leadership Conference at West Chester University should stop by F205 to see Mrs. King. Registration is free and this very popular conference is not yet at capacity--but will probably "sell out"

Attention: The monthly meeting for German Club will be on Monday, February 24th in C202 from 2:30-4pm.
Think you have what it takes to be a great filmmaker? Then don’t miss your chance to enter a film in the 5th annual Behind the Lens Film Festival, which will be held right here in the auditorium on April 23rd. Once again, professional filmmakers will be judging this year’s films. Deadline to submit films is March 13. Details can be found on the BWTV page on the Tennent website, or you can stop by the TV Studio to see Mrs. McCaffery with any questions.
