• Dear Parents/Guardians and Faculty/Staff:

    The weekly update to the PA Early Warning Dashboard was published with the following information.


    As many of you are aware, the CSD Administration presented the following Instructional Model Metrics to the school board as a guide for decision making.


    Additionally, Montgomery County Health Department has now directed all schools to move to full-virtual. While this directive is very different from the guidance provided by our own Bucks County Health Department, the MontCo decision could have an impact on our staffing and operational capacity which is also a part of our decision making process.

    Given that we have moved closer to the instructional model metrics for virtual shown above, today the administration met to discuss the planning process for the possible implementation of full-virtual or the stratified/targeted mitigation strategy model recently suggested by health experts. It is important that everyone begin to prepare for the possible change in the instructional model that could occur the week of November 23rd.  

    Please note that CSD has had zero "0" cases of COVID as a result of school exposure. This is in large part due to the implementation of the Health and Safety Plan, implementation of the COVID-5 protocol, and other mitigation strategies.  For CSD to be successful, we must continue to work together in order to find a balance in providing a teaching and learning environment that is also safe.

    With the above in mind, please note the additional measures that will be implemented upon the return from Thanksgiving break:

    1) All students (families) who travel to a state designated as a hot spot (high amounts of COVID-19 cases) by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, are asked to quarantine for 14-days prior to returning to school.     2) CSD Employees - you will be receiving a separate communication regarding the Wellness Check procedure and module located in the Skyward Employee Access Portal.

    I will be providing additional information but wanted to provide some communication ASAP given the significant events of today.  Please remember, we are in this no-win situation together. We must all do our part to combat the increased spread of COVID by actively and aggressively following the recommended mitigation strategies.
