Dear Parents/Guardians of CSD Secondary Students,
As was approved at last evening’s special meeting of CSD’s Board of School Directors, we are returning to 5 days of in-person instruction for all K-12 students on Monday, April 19, 2021. Additionally, we will continue offering fully remote instruction for parents/guardians who prefer that option.
During this instructional model shift, CSD will continue to implement appropriate school/district mitigation strategies listed below to the best of our abilities:
- 1) Face Coverings/Masks worn at all times.
- 2) Physical Distancing (at least 3 feet).
- 3) Hand Washing/Hand Sanitizing.
Please know classroom or schoolwide remote/virtual instruction may occur if there is an increase in COVID cases in a specific classroom or school as outlined in the January Superintendent’s Update newsletter sent to parents/guardians. Please be on the lookout for another Superintendent’s Update in the next day or so.
It is vitally important for our community to follow the established mitigation strategies such as the COVID-5 and monitoring for symptoms to help us minimize the impact of COVID and positive cases which could result in schools shifting to a full remote instructional model.
- If you have previously completed this survey, please do not complete it again.
- If you have multiple children in secondary school(s), grades 6-12, please fill out 1 survey for each child.
