About Ms.Lenox
Ms. Lenox is the Band Director at Log College Middle School and is the Assistant Band Director for the William Tennent Marching Band. Ms. Lenox has been in the Centennial School district since 2002.
Ms. Lenox is an graduate of William Tennent High School. She started playing flute at Davis Elementary, and continued playing flute and piano at Klinger Middle School. She switched to french horn in 9th grade and played in the William Tennent Concert Band, Marching Band and piano in the Jazz Band.Ms. Lenox has guested conducted the Air Force Band of Mid America, the Lone Star Wind Orchestra, North Texas Wind Symphony, the IUP Wind Ensemble, and the Doylestown Symphonic Winds.Ms. Lenox has two publishedstudy guides in the GIA series, Teaching Music through Performance in Band and has been a recording assistant to several of the Teaching Music through Performance in Band CD's.Ms. Lenox holds professional memberships in PMEA, BCMEA, WASBE, and Sigma Alpha Iota.Ms. Lenox is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she received her Bachelors Degree in Music Education.Her favorite sports teams are the Phillies and FlyersMs. Lenox spent two years in the Lone Star State and graduated with her Masters Degree in Wind Conducting from the University of North Texas, where she studied with Eugene Corporon and Dennis Fisher.In her spare time, which isn't much, she loves to travel, play in several community orchestras and bands, and teaching new tricks to her dog, Lacey.
