I graduated from West Chester Univeristy where I studied Kinesiology and received a B.S. Degree in Health and Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Medicine and Teacher Certification. I received my Masters of Education degree in School Health at West Chester University as well. I worked for several years as an Athletic Trainer and teacher in a private school prior to being hired by the Centennial School District. I started as a health and physical education teacher at William Tennent High School in 1997, an opening became available in the elementary schools in 2003, I decided to make the move to the elementary level.
I have 2 children, Blake and Hunter.
I love to run, bike, swim, hike, kayak/canoe, scuba dive, read, listen to live music and hang out with my boys.

My Most Recent Accomplished Athletic Achievements:
Participating in the 2013 ITU World Age Group, Short Course Duathlon Championships held in Ottawa for TEAM USA.
Qualifying for the Boston Marathon in 2007 and completing it in April 2009.
Completing IRONMAN LAKE PLACID in 2006 & 2009.
