Welcome to Willow Dale Reading!
My name is Kelley O'Leary, and I am one of the reading specialists here at Willow Dale Elementary. I have been in Centennial School District since 1993, starting as a middle school English teacher at Log College Middle School. Eventually, I became a reading specialist and worked at Davis Elementary from 1997 until 2006, when I became principal there. I spent the next six years as a principal in the district at Davis, Longstreth, and Stackpole, helping our students, staff, and families through our years of construction and transition. I then spent two years as the district's Literacy Coordinator and Federal Programs Coordinator. I now am thrilled to be back working with students and being part of the wonderful Willow Dale staff. This is currently my 3rd year here at Willow Dale.
I received my undergraduate degree from Penn State and have a Master's from Holy Family University for Reading and one from Gwynedd-Mercy for Educational Administration. I live in Warrington with my husband, Jim, and daughters Erin and Shannon. When not at Willow Dale, I spend most of my time keeping up with my children and their many activities! I love to read and write, watch the Phillies, Eagles and Flyers, and spend time at the Jersey shore in the summer.
I look forward to the opportunity to assist you and your children on their journey toward becoming successful readers and writers.
