ADULT EDUCATION ABE/GED/ESL

Federally funded Adult Basic Education (ABE), General Education Development (GED) classes and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESL) classes are offered for students with specific needs. Three ABE/ESL classes provide instruction in reading and English. This program is especially popular with non-English speaking adults in the area. The GED classes prepare adults for the high school equivalency exam. ABE, GED, and ESL classes are offered at no cost to adults, and textbooks are provided free of charge. The availability of these programs is contingent upon the receipt of federal funding.
