WT Faculty donated birthday celebration items and gave monetary donations for the Birthday in a Bag Project in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Our Voices for Change student group assembled 45 birthday bags to be distributed at the CSD Farmer's Market at Klinger Middle School and the CSD Food Pantry at McDonald Elementary School for families who come and want to celebrate a child's upcoming Birthday. Each birthday bag contains cake mix, frosting, sprinkles, a baking pan, birthday candles, birthday plates, napkins, balloons, generic birthday cards, and a few other surprises to help bring that child and family cheer without additional expense.
