The Centennial School District is getting a $362,626 grant to improve school safety, including upgrading and adding security cameras.
School officials said the district was awarded the safety and security grant by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.
The grant is for the purchase of physical, technological, and mental health measures to improve the safety and well-being of students, staff, community, and visitors in the Centennial School District, school officials said.
“We are delighted to receive these additional funds to support our ongoing efforts to improve safety and security in the Centennial School District," Schools Superintendent Dana T. Bedden said.
