On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, the School Board approved the district calendar for the next school year (2023-2024). I want to thank the committee members for providing their time and efforts in developing the calendar.   

The committee was charged with developing a calendar that maintained a continuity of student learning and continuity of professional learning to improve student learning and growth. 

Highlights:

• Begin on August 24, 2023, and end on June 6, 2024
• More instructional days with fewer disruptions to improve student outcomes
• Set date for Graduation – June 5, 2024
• 2 Snow Days – Built-in Days in case of Snow/Inclement Weather
• 5 Flexible Instructional Days - Snow/Inclement Weather
• Discounted YMCA Summer Camp for Families During Early June (New Opportunity designed to support CSD families)
