    Thursday, February 14, 2019 - Day 1

    Want to have the chance to win great prizes, have a lot of fun, enjoy pizza and other great snacks, all while helping out a great organization?  Bring in your forms and donations for the Log-A-Thon and help us help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  You can win great door prizes like this Wawa gift basket, just for attending.     Girls, do you want to “Discover your future”? Attend a STEM day at Montgomery County Community College on Saturday, March 2, 2019.  Hands on workshops led by professionals in Biology, Chemistry, Technology, Engineering, Physics, and Medicine.  Registration forms available on the Log College Website.  Must register before February 22nd.

    7th or 8th Grade boys interested in playing baseball, please stop down to Mr. Boyd's class Room 51

    The girls softball sign up meeting is today from 3:00 to 3:45 in room 33 after school.  You can either take the 4:15 bus or arrange a ride to pick you up.   Please see Mr. Swartwood or Mr. Boyle if you have any questions.

    Wednesday, February 13, 2019 - Day 2

    Our 5th Annual Log-A-Thon to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, is next Thursday, February 21st from 2-4:15pm.  With a minimum donation of 25 dollars, students can join in on the fun and games, hang out with friends, win great prizes, and enjoy pizza and other snacks.  All of this, while helping to raise money to fight childhood cancer.

    Calling all bibliophiles! The LCMS Reading Olympics team will be meeting after school on Wednesday, February 13th. We'll be revealing the t-shirt design and order forms will be distributed. Please have your Uber ready by 4:05 or be prepared to ride the bus home.

    Kindness Club! We are meeting after school today- if you would still like to sign up, stop by and see Ms. Ball in room 24! Do not forget- only students that handed in their therapy dog permission forms may stay today!

     The Log-A-Thon is scheduled for February 21st.  All money we raise will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help families with children battling these diseases and also to help find better treatments and a cure.  Tune in to the announcements next week to learn more about LLS and some their honored heros.  Donation forms and permission slips are posted on the Log College website - turn forms and donations into your period 1 day 1 teacher beginning tomorrow.

    Wednesday, February 6, 2019 - Day 2

     The following stage crew members are needed at rehearsal today:   Assistant Stage Crew Manager, Sound Engineers, Light Board Operator, and Spot Light Operators. All other members are not required to come, but are welcome to observe rehearsal if they wish.

    The next art club meeting will take place today for any student who turned in a permission slip. Anyone being picked up must have a ride by 4:10 or you will be taking the late bus home. See Ms. Berner in room 14 with any questions.

    Our annual Pennies for Patients fundraiser to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society will be kicking off later this week. Be sure to listen to the announcements to find out how you can participate in the finale - The 5th annual Log-A-Thon is scheduled for February 21st.  Some great new games are planned and we have some amazing prizes.  A minimum donation of $25 gets you a free raffle ticket and admission into the Log-A-Thon.  $125 of online donations earns you a free ticket to Dorney Park.  And, we will have a spectacular prize for the student who collects the most donations.  Students will also be able to participate in a hat day and buy raffle tickets to help us achieve our goal of $4500.  Tune in tomorrow for more details!

    There is a STEM event for girls grades 5 - 8 being held at the Montgomery County Community College on March 2, 2019.

    Monday, January 28, 2019 - Day 2

    Congratulations to the Log Cheerleaders for taking 1st place at the CB East Invitational this weekend. The girls were up against all but 1 Central Bucks team and stole a landslide victory.  Despite Log's minor mistakes, they put on a top notch performance. 

    As if first place was not enough, they also won the best tumbling award for the day.  This award was based on the amount, frequency and synchronization of their flips.  They beat out all teams that performed yesterday including both CB West and South high schools.  Well done ladies! Remember to stay humble and continue to work hard!"
