• My name is Tara Shane Hering, I am an art teacher in the Centennial School District. I currently work at William Tennent High School.  This year I am teaching Art 1 and Painting. Before coming to the Centennial school District I was an art teacher in the West Shore School District located in Camp Hill, Pa. I worked at Cedar Cliff High School as an art teacher. I taught fine art and lead the computer art program.  After moving to Bucks County, I began working at Klinger Middle School and later taught at William Tennent High School.  I love teaching both Middle School and High School artists! As an art teacher, I believe everyone can learn to draw and can find in life at least one thing in life you can be passionate about.

As an artist and educator, I have to be skilled to work in a variety of mediums.  I graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design with a degree in Graphic Design/Illustration, later I attended Millersville University and earned my degree in Art Education.  I currently hold a Masters in Arts Education.

My personal art is mainly composed of watercolor and chalk pastel paintings.  I am passionate about painting fish and animals in nature.  I like to try to explore different ways of working with a variety of materials, and papers, as well as different compositions.
