Mr. Andrew J. Doster, Principal of Davis Elementary School
It is an honor to serve our students and community as the Principal of Davis Elementary School. I continually strive to ensure the best overall experience for our students, community, faculty, and staff on a daily basis.
My goals are based on my desire to personalize the learning experience for our students, while providing equity in access for all students through innovative practice and family engagement in the school environment.
Since 2007, I have served as a Jr./Sr. High School Principal, grades 7 through 12, as an Elementary Principal, grades Pre-K through 6, and as Principal of the Log College Middle School, grades 6-8. Prior to 2007, I taught at the high school, middle school, and elementary level.
I have been fortunate to have had great experiences across the continuum of school district administration, community relations, instruction/curriculum design, special education, federal programs, as well as building and district level leadership.
My background in Pre-K through 12 instructional design and leadership serves to create, and align learning experiences that are grounded in the acquisition of real-world skill and transfer for our learners.
Like our students, my learning continues! I am currently working through the process of completing my Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership.
At Davis we continually strive to create dynamic, individualized learning experiences that focus on the development of the whole child. This cannot be done without the support of the parents and community, and effective communication between the learning environment and home.
Please email, call, or stop by with your concerns. You are always welcome!
