    Dear Davis Community:

It is my honor to be the assistant principal of Davis Elementary School. It is my goal to provide a safe and respectfully challenging environment where our students can grow to be the best they can be each and every day.

I have been lucky to work in learning environments since 1997. I had the privilege of working at the district office as a curriculum supervisor here in Centennial School District. Previous to my tenure in CSD, I taught in Philadelphia SD and then Hatboro-Horsham SD.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in English and Education from Temple University. I wanted to help students in their learning processes so I enrolled at Arcadia University and earned a master’s degree in Education with a concentration in reading. Being a life-long learner, I went on to study more about education earning a principal certification through Cabrini University and then a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management at Drexel University. My dissertation topic was understanding how elementary age students work through challenging skills and tasks. I hope to use the findings to help our students grow and go on to achieve their dreams.

My goal as an educator and leader is for each individual to reach his or her highest potential, identify strengths, continue to work through challenges, and celebrate everyone for their efforts to make each day rewarding.

Being in the Centennial School District, I enjoy and appreciate how supportive our families, community, faculty, and staff are. I look forward to experience the day to day goings on with the Davis community and helping to continue a culture in which students receive a strong foundation in learning, commitment, respect, self-worth, and friendship.

Please reach out with any questions or concerns. I prefer talking on the phone or face-to-face interactions as that is the best way to be clear about tone
