Food and Nutritional Services Department
The CSD Food Service Department is committed to supplying healthy meals to our students and miking sure no child goes hungry.
The team continues to work hard during the pandemic to reach as many students as possible with our meals, whether they are visiting one of our 5 mobile sites or eating with us while in school.
The CSD Food and Nutrtional Service Department is happy to announce that the USDA has approved the waiver extension to all ALL CHILDREN 18 and under to receive FREE meals throughout the remainder of the 20/21 school year. This means all children regardless of their previously approved status will receive free meals for the entire school year, whether your child(ren) are in school and/or receiving their meals from one of our mobile locations. There is nothing further required from a student or parent in order to receive the free meals during this school year. Meals will be prepped into a "Grab and Go" style, making sure that students have all the necesary components for a nutritious meal while meeting the social distancing guidelines. We strongly encourage ALL CHILDREN to eat breakfast and lunch with us daily. This not only will make sure they get a nutritous meal, but they will also be helping support our Food and Nutritional Service Department.
Please note we are still encouraging parents to apply for the free and reduced program due to other benefits that may be available either with the district or outside of the district.
