ThinkCentral for Students
Students can log onto
The first time logging on students will have to select country, state, district, and school. Then log in
with their email as username (firstname.lastname@example.org) using your last name and first name, and "CSD28" as password.
Once students are logged in they will have access to the entire online text (via the Modules) and online resources.
*Please note: Think Central can also be accessed through classlink in school using 28lastfi as username, but password is your lunch number. This will direct you to Think Central site.
- Online Reading program - Practice 60 minutes per week. This assignment may be spread out over 7 days (Monday through Sunday). The more practice your child gets in, the more levels he/she will achieve. Each child has his/her Lexia Core 5 log in information on the front of his/her agenda book.
Homework is consistent throughout the year. Each night, the children must study their class notes, vocabulary, and/or organizers. The only time homework changes is if there is a study guide or puzzle to complete. Although rare, students may need to complete the lessson for the day. If anything other than studying needs to be done, the homework board will be updated and students are required to copy the extra work in their agenda books. Tests are sent home within one to three school days of administration. The only exception is if a child is absent, the tests are held until the child returns to school. This is done to preserve the integrity of the test and not compromise the contents. In that case, the students are told their grades so that they may share with parents.
Water and Structures of Lfe are the 3rd grade units. These will be taught in the third and fourth marking periods.
The Foss science website is interactive, fun, and inspiring. Students and parents are encouraged to review the lessons, practice the investigations, and review the vocabulary and concepts throughoutThe only exception is if a child is absent, the tests are held until the child returns to school. This is done to preserve the integrity of the test and not compromise the contents. In that case, the students are told their grades so that they may share with parents.
