Child Care Transportation Information
The School District will provide transportation to a private childcare provider who provides childcare services in his/her residence under the following conditions:
The private childcare provider resides in the same attendance zone as the student(s).
Transportation to a private childcare provider does not result in the establishment of a bus stop or bus route.
The parent/guardian submits a request for transportation to and from a private childcare provider by August 1 for the following school year.
The below chart depicts the childcare facilities for which the District will provide school bus transportation for each elementary school. If you plan to use a pick-up or drop-off location other than your home address, you must fill out a Childcare Form and submit this form to your school so that the alternate transportation arrangements can be scheduled.
A Childcare Form must be submitted each school year even if you are planning to use the same childcare arrangements as the previous school year. All requests for childcare must be submitted by August 1st for the following school year.
