Counseling & Career:
Today, Monday, December 16th at 11am, a representative from LaSalle University's BUSCA Program will be presenting to interested Spanish speaking students. The BUSCA Program serves motivated Spanish speaking students who need more time to develop their academic language before moving into mainstream college classrooms. Financial Aid and Scholarship information will be discussed as well. Students interested can sign up in the College and Career Office or speak with Mr. Tomlinson.
Attention 9th, 10th and 11th graders!! Announcing a wonderful summer experience in the Field of Engineering. NovaEdge Diversity in Engineering is a one-week, on campus program at Villanova University to introduce a diverse population of students from different ethnic and social backgrounds to the traditional fields of engineering, including Chemical, Civil and Environmental, Computer, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Application deadline is January 26, 2020. If interested, please see your counselor for more information.
Do you love to watch different game shows on TV? Have aspirations of beating our teachers on the CLASHroom? Or know a lot of random information that you just don't know what to do with? Auditions for the select choirs of William Tennent High School will take place on January 7th after school. You may sign up for an audition time outside of Ms. Flack's office, #F113. National Art Honor Society members, there will be a meeting this Wednesday after school. Please be there.

The Ski and Snowboard Club will be going to Bear Creek Mountain on Friday January 3rd. Sign up forms are available from Mr. Tomlinson in the Counseling Office or from Ms. Konell in room C215. Payment is due by December 19th.
Athletes Helping Athletes (AHA): Are you interested in adding something great to your resume? If so, how does being a sponsor for Athletes Helping Athletes sound? Athletes Helping Athletes is a great way to get involved and give back to those who will benefit from it. All you need to do is stop by Mr. Kocher’s (Kot-cher) room (A114B) now through December 17th and sign up. You will be expected to assist a student at a future Tennent Boys/Girls Basketball game as the individual gets recognized as an honorary captain. If you would like more information regarding Athletes Helping Athletes feel free to ask Mr. Kocher.
