    Counseling & Career:

    The Forensic Sciences Mentoring Institute offers a summer program that specializes in teaching the forensic sciences.  Two Open Houses are scheduled in Willow Grove for April 11 or April 13.  Registration for this event is now open go to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fmi-2019-open-house-tickets-57436709745.  

    Do you need help completing your FAFSA?  Check out FAFSA Fridays at the Newtown campus of Bucks County Community College, during March from 9am to 3pm.  See Ms. Bielawski in the College and Career Center (Room B201) for additional information. 

    The ACT's will be held here at WTHS on June 8, you must register by May 3 to avoid a late fee.   Register at actstudent.org.  Stop by the College and Career Center (Room B201) to pick up a practice booklet. 

    Two important SAT's dates are coming up here at WTHS.  May 4 means you must register by April 5 and June 1 you must register by May 3 to avoid a late fee.   Go to www.sat.org/register.  Stop by the College and Career Center (Room B201) to pick up a practice booklet. 

    Seniors!!  One more Scholarship has been added to the Community and School Scholarships and Awards.  Have you demonstrated a concern for others through service to school, community, church or synagogue and will matriculate at a two or 4-year college/university or trade school?  Then check out The Southampton Radiant Star Lodge No. 806 Scholarship.  See Ms. Bielawski in the College and Career Center (Room B201) for additional information and an application. 

    Seniors!!!  One more Scholarship has been added to the Community and School Scholarships and Awards.  The William Tennent Field Hockey Scholarship is now available for the Class of 2019.  See Ms. Bielawski in the College and Career Center (Room B201) for additional information and an application.

    The Bucks County (PA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated proudly presents their 11th Teen Leadership Institute, on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM in Trevose.  Admission and lunch are free, but you must register at www.2019TLI.EVENTBRITE.COM.  Register early, seating is limited. 

    Seniors!!!  Keep checking Naviance for all the new Scholarships that have been posted.  The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, The Anna M. Vincent Scholarship, and The American Heritage Scholarship are all-new.  Go to Naviance for additional information.   

    Clubs/Sports/Activities:

    The Debate Team will meet on Tuesday at 3:00 in A206.

     

    Mu Alpha Theta will be holding a Chipotle Fundraiser Tuesday, April 2nd from 5pm to 9pm. They will also be holding a 3-day long fundraiser at Flip City Shakes from April 22nd to April 24th from 11am to 9pm. Please come out to support them in their efforts to raise money to purchase calculators for the school!

     

    Attention Seniors: any Senior art student who is interested in participating in this year's Senior Wall showcase during the Fine Arts festival must sign up to attend the meeting.    The meeting is mandatory will occur during the first half of 8th period on Wednesday March 27.   We will cover the new participation requirements and all relevant details. You must sign up in the F-wing in order to be excused from class to attend.  See any Art teacher to have your name added to the list. 

     

    The Senior Prom is on May 17 from 7 pm to 11 pm at The Fuge.  Tickets will be sold on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, April 2, 3rd and 4th during lunches in the cafeteria.  No tickets will be sold after the dates specified.  Tickets are $95.00 per person.  You can pay cash, check or money order.  Check or money orders can be made payable to WTHS. Permission forms are available on the Class of 2019 Canvas page in the announcements section, in the 12th grade house office, or on the WTHS website.  Please see Mrs. Banchi in room C108 with any questions.

     

    If you have an appointment card filled out to donate blood please give it to Mrs. Harper in Room C104, Mrs. Adams in Room C 120 or Ms. Bellman in FCS wing.  If you are still interested in signing up see any of those teachers or any Key Club member.  The blood drive is March 27 & 28 and it is not too late to sign up.
