Yesterday, students and staff of Willow Dale Elementary came together, dressed in gold, to take part in a special tribute for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
In a moving show of unity, our Willow Dale school gathered outside to form a giant human ribbon — the universal symbol of cancer awareness — to honor children and families affected by childhood cancer and to shine a light on the importance of research, support, and hope.
We are so proud of our students and staff for embracing this cause with such enthusiasm and heart. Moments like these remind us what makes our district community so special: our willingness to come together, big or small, for causes that matter.
