The William Tennent High School cheerleaders were recently recognized at the Centennial School District Board Meeting for their outstanding food drive efforts benefiting the local community.
The WTHS Cheerleaders collected more than 750 pounds of donated food during a food drive hosted by the Giant Supermarket of Warminster. This outstanding contribution will help support local families and individuals facing food insecurity.
The collection surpassed the 500-pound benchmark for an excellent food drive, reaching more than 750 pounds with an estimated retail value of more than $1,700. Together, the donations provided the equivalent of more than 1,500 meals for local individuals and families in need.
Congratulations to the WTHS Cheerleading team on this well-deserved recognition. Your generosity and community spirit continue to make a real difference for local families!
