Congratulations on the achievements of the Future Business Leader students at William Tennent High School! It takes a massive amount of dedication to balance schoolwork with the rigorous preparation required for the FBLA State Leadership Conference. A huge shout-out to the entire roster for representing the Centennial School District so well. Making it to the state level is a feat in itself, as it means these students are among the top business-minded youth in Pennsylvania.
Special Spotlight: Yaroslav Teteruk
Placing 5th in the state for Mobile App Design is a standout accomplishment. In a field that requires a mix of technical coding ability, user interface (UI) design, and a solid business pitch, ranking that high speaks volumes about Yaroslav’s skill and future potential in the tech industry.

🥁 Band Night is TOMORROW NIGHT (7 PM) William Tennent High school!

Fourth graders from Davis Elementary had an amazing time at Pennsbury Manor!
O-It was a beautiful, sunny day
spent stepping back in time and exploring history in such a hands-on way.
A huge thank you to this incredible fourth grade team for organizing this special experience, and to all of the parent chaperones for helping make the day run so smoothly.

🎓 Plans after graduation: Attending college or trade school
😃 Dream career: Sonography & business owner
👀 Favorite moment in high school: Attending homecoming
🎶 Teacher, coach, or staff member that influenced you: Mr.Tomlinson, because he’s been more than a guidance counselor. Even at my lowest point, he paved a way for me to be able to improve in my academics
Congratulations to you, Jasmine!

At this past Tuesday's Board of School Directors meeting, the Centennial School District community took a solemn moment to honor the life and legacy of former Board Member Jane Schrader Lynch. We were deeply humbled to welcome Jane’s family to the meeting, where they were presented with a memorial plaque in recognition of her dedicated service. Jane was a committed public servant whose advocacy for our students, staff, and schools left a lasting mark on the district. We extend our deepest sympathies to her loved ones and remain profoundly grateful for her years of leadership and service to Centennial.

Students at Willow Dale Elementary School are applying principles of architecture and engineering introduced during their "Structures" unit. After exploring the art and science of structural design, such as symmetry, balance, and stability, students were challenged to design and construct original cardboard structures that demonstrated their understanding.
With the Chomp Saw made available through funding from the Centennial Education Foundation, students were able to safely and precisely cut cardboard into unique and complex shapes. This tool fostered creativity in a safe and developmentally appropriate manner.
We are loving all the projects!

The Klippers cast and crew of Matilda, Jr. were excited to take the stage once again! Their energy, talent, and hard work in bringing this beloved story to life had already captivated teachers and students. This week, they performed at the highly anticipated Golden Ticket event. Great job to the cast and crew of this amazing adaptation!

McDonald Elementary has some new Golden Spoon Winners! Congratulations to Ms. Morrison's Class!

🤖 Last weekend, the William Tennent High School Robotics Team competed in their first qualifying event of the season. The team, which has been meeting since September but their season started on January 10th, strategized, designed, built, and programmed a robot that was unique to the FIRST "Rebuilt" game. The team overcame tremendous adversity. Multiple parts broke on our robot, but our team never quit, and we never missed a match.
To learn more about our team, check out www.centennialsd.org/wtrobotics and explore the "Rebuilt - 2026 How to Play" tab and get ready to join us March 21st and March 22nd as William Tennent hosts our Week 3 qualifier!
