On Saturday, Klinger Middle School hosted its 4th annual FIRST LEGO League Regional Qualifying Tournament. Of the 18 teams that participated, 10 were from our elementary and middle schools. We had a great day of sharing innovation projects and showcasing our LEGO robots. Congratulations to Log College Middle School’s Red team for having the highest robot score among our teams. Congratulations to the Davis Elementary Silver team for winning the Innovation Project award and to the Willow Dale Elementary School Gold team for winning the Breakthrough Award.

The story follows the lives of seven women baseball stars who are at the pinnacle of their game and represent the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Japan, South Korea, Cuba and Uganda. In the intense battle for the World Cup Championship, they want victory — for themselves, for their team, for their countries, and for the sheer love of the game — but their greatest triumph is the path they are blazing for future generations of female players.
Location & Time: The event will take place at Klinger Middle School at 7:00 PM.
Panel: Screening of the movie, followed by a panel discussion.

Log College Middle School celebrated its Fall athletes as they prepare for their final contests against Klinger Middle School over the next few weeks. In addition, students who excelled academically in the PSSA or i-Ready tests or who showed tremendous growth, were recognized.
Log also recognized five of its teachers for obtaining PVAAS scores that scored beyond the "Well Above" mark on the PA state ratings scale. This is an outstanding achievement.
