The William Tennent Boys Volleyball team was riding an eight-game winning streak as they entered the District One Tournament this week. On Tuesday, the #6-seeded Panthers were victorious at home against #11-seeded Souderton with a match score of 3-0, and last night, the Panthers avenged a mid-season loss by beating #3-seeded Bensalem at Bensalem 3-0.
With their win streak extended to ten games, William Tennent will face off against #2 seeded Pennridge on Tuesday, May 23rd at 7:00 PM at Pennridge High School. All tickets must be purchased online through the District One Hometown Ticketing Site.
On Thursday, March 11, in honor of Nurse Appreciation Week, the William Tennent Jazz Ensemble performed at numerous Jefferson Hospitals. It was a privilege to show our support and appreciation for their endless work and dedication to serving the community.

Science Day is back at WTHS on 5/13/23. This free community event celebrating science is open to adults, teens, and children. Participants can experience hands-on science activities run by the WTHS Science National Honors Society. The student-led activities range from simple dissection, water tricks, chemistry, and a crash course on fruit flies and how they can be used in research. Come enjoy the fun and learn about ways to get involved!

Congratulations to the William Tennent Jazz Ensemble for taking home first place and being World Champions back-to-back years at the TIA Jazz Championships this past Friday in Wildwood. The ensemble swept the awards, taking home best saxophone section, best trombone section, best trumpet section, and best rhythm section along with Albert Chacko winning best drum solo.
